Explore Creative Engineering Through Our Magic of Dreamscaping

In my company, experimentation and failure are integral to our creative process and the continuous evolution of the art form of creative engineering. The visionary approach our team embraces is about failing through the pushing of boundaries, taking risks, and learning from both successes and failures.

Experimentation is at the core of what we do. I encourage my team of talented artisans and engineers - collectively known as NLP’s Dreamscapers [our version of Disney’s Imagineers] to explore new ideas, techniques, and materials. Through experimentation, they discover innovative ways to bring characters and stories to life, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The team’s workshop serves as a laboratory where ideas are tested, refined, and expanded upon.

Failure is not seen as a setback, but rather as a valuable learning opportunity. We all understand that failure is an essential part of the creative process and that it often leads to breakthroughs and new discoveries. I encourage my team to embrace failure, learn from it, and use it as a stepping stone towards success.

The culture of experimental failure in our workshop fosters a spirit of innovation and resilience. It encourages the puppeteers, writers, artists, and technicians to think outside the box, take risks, and explore uncharted territory. Our team is not afraid to try new ideas, even if they might not work initially. They understand that failure is not a reflection of their abilities but rather an opportunity to grow and improve.

Through this process of experimentation and failure, the team continuously evolves and pushes the boundaries of puppetry and storytelling. New techniques, materials, and technologies are discovered and integrated into the art form, creating a mesmerizing and immersive experience for the audience. The team’s willingness to take risks and learn from failures ensures that each performance is more innovative and captivating than the last.
